This could be a Quote of Note:
Too often, well-funded ideologues have used intimidation, vilification, and fear-mongering to advance their goal that government control the Internet and other forms of communication without regard for their impact on the jobs and livelihoods of millions already challenged by a difficult economy.
The author is chief AT&T lobbyist Jim Cicconi commenting on the FCC “I can’t believe it’s not Network Neutrality,” vote yesterday.
Well-funded? Compared to AT&T? So I read this sentence one more time and thought about the psychological process of projection.
Well-funded ideologue. Check.
Intimidation. Vilification. Fear-mongering. Check.
Advance the goal of government control. Check.
Without regard to impact on jobs and livelihoods. Check.
