Thanks for the heads-up. The discussion of the need for public policy safeguards of Net Neutrality, particularly now in the era when there is no longer any such thing as a "common carrier," was a wake-up call. Sascha Meinrath asked "What are the critical battles we face?" and Larry lessig said the first step is to join the fight for network neutrality; and then to get the government to turn over a large chunk of unlicensed rf spectrum for broadband access to foster growth of competitive high speed wireless access.

We need a public policy push to affirm the principles of end-to-end andeliminate packet inspection altogether, whether as a metering alternative or in support of DCMA content regulation.

People who read isen.blog probably already understand this. The rest of the American public needs to be informed too.
