Protest music that's great music!
A comment on this isen.blog post points to MusicRowDemocrats, a site with 20 great country-folk-pop-western songs, free for the listening, that also just happen to be songs about working two jobs and living in your car, lying in high places, the tragedy of war, and tax breaks for the rich. Some of these songs are by great musicians like Tim O'Brien and Norman & Nancy Blake. Others are from players I don't know. But every song is bouncy, catchy, hard hitting and professionally produced. Worth listening to! In fact, I can't stop playing it.

"[How would we find out about music like this if our Internet connection providers charged sites extra fees for delivering their goods to us? Or, worse, once site blocking becomes acceptable, "controversial" music like this could be blocked altogether.]
