Yeah I disagree too -- it may be hubris, but it's hardly scientific to completely dispense with experiment.

looks like Forbes forgot the Cheney doctrine, "if there is even a 1% chance that something is true, then the US MUST act on that basis"
If Forbes could accept that 1%, he has no excuse for delay.

What bothers me about Global Warming is the lack of concern for other more serious and pressing problems. For example, we could supply everyone in the world with clean water for a fraction of the cost of Kyoto. We could ACTUALLY make people's lives better NOW, rather than MAYBE averting a problem that their GRANDCHILDREN might have.
